“Prima La Musica – the chamber orchestra led by composer/conductor Dirk Brossé – is offering young, up-and-coming professional musicians six months of intensive coaching. This career boosting opportunity will unfold in various phases: person-to-person workshops, covering different aspects of the profession; artistic coaching; and a closing concert (9th of December 2026) in Muziekcentrum De Bijloke (Ghent). At this closing concert, the selected soloist will perform a work of his or her choosing together with Prima La Musica and the selected conductor will conduct one of the works selected for the concert programme.

Register as a soloist before JUly 1th
You are between 18 and 28 years old.
You select three works that you would like to perform together with Prima La Musica. Explain why you have chosen these works. (1 string orchestra, 1 chamber orchestra - Beethoven orchestra and 1 for orchestra with variable instruments)
You send your CV, a letter of motivation and a video clip of you performing as a soloist (max 12 minutes - shareable link) to jasper@jamm-management.com. (project management) before July 1th.
You attach two letters of recommendation, written by people active in the professional music world.
You are free for the rehearsals with orchestra in November and of December and on December 9th for the closing concert.
The dates of the workshops and coaching sessions will be mutually determined by the selected soloist, Prima La Musica and Dirk Brossé.
Register as a conductor before july 1th
You are between 18 and 28 years old.
You send your CV, a letter of motivation and a video clip (shareable link) of a recent conducting assignment to jasper@jamm-management.com. Select 3 works that you want to perform with Prima La Musica. (1 string orchestra, 1 chamber orchestra - Beethoven orchestra and 1 for orchestra with variable instruments) and comment on this choice.
You attach two letters of recommendation, written by people active in the professional music world before July 1th.
You are free for the rehearsals with orchestra in November and of December and on December 9th for the closing concert.
The dates of the workshops and coaching sessions will be mutually determined by the selected conductor, Prima La Musica and Dirk Brossé.

Nationality
Prima La Musica seeks young talent is a national project. All Belgians and non-Belgian residents of Belgium can participate.
Registration
Registrations must be addressed to Prima La Musica and sent by email to contact@primalamusica.be. Attachments and videos must be sent via WeTransfer or made available via an online link. Other forms of registration will not be accepted.
Selection
Candidates will be reviewed by an independent selection committee. The committee has the right to ask candidates for additional information. The committee will not provide feedback, either orally or in writing, to unsuccessful candidates. All candidates are welcome, regardless of their ideological, philosophical, linguistic, political, religious or racial background. Candidates will be selected solely on the basis of their quality, originality and inventiveness.
